In Revelations from Heaven, Randy leads you into a heavenly encounter of your own, revealing 31 revelations that God is unveiling to you.

A deadly medical mistake sent a navy sailor to the presence of Jesus in heaven. He returned from his near-death experience with new eyes to see the kingdom of heaven in this life. Now he wants to help you experience heaven on earth today.

Life After Heaven: How My Time in Heaven Can Transform Your Life on Earth

For years Steve Musick kept his amazing story to himself, afraid no one would believe or understand it. A major allergic reaction had stopped his heart, hurling him into a five-week coma and powerful experience of heaven. After returning to life, he couldn't forget the memory of that vibrant place - and, most of all, the loving words and touch of Jesus.

But that was only the beginning. An amazing series of miracles, dreams, and other supernatural events had been set in motion, showing Steve that heaven was close, even in this life. God was calling him to discover echoes of heaven in the here and now - echoes that can happen at any moment, to anyone - that bring overwhelming joy.

At last Steve is ready to tell the story of his journey of a lifetime - two lifetimes. In it you'll learn the secret of bringing heaven to earth in your everyday world and how to nurture a relationship with God so real and intimate that you'll feel his nearness as strongly as Steve did.

Tim Tebow believes that the secret to a truly meaningful life is not more comfort or ease, but recognizing the clear, unique mission that God has set before you. Having a focused sense of your personal, God-given significance will bring you a lasting sense of purpose.

Reframing your perspective can transform your life. We often face circumstances that we cannot change - a job we are forced to keep, a relationship that did not work out, a decision we cannot take back. The stress of life can overwhelm us, and we may not see past the obstacles in our path. In the face of unwanted challenges, we may despair over our lack of control and long for an easier way out. Laurie Short offers a simple but revolutionary idea: Change nothing that is around you yet still change everything about your life.

In another account of an afterlife experience, book author Steven Musick says heaven is filled with "brilliant" scenes, "like HD on steroids," and that Jesus Christ looks like "a weightlifter" or a "body builder."

With engaging stories and clear, simple language, pastor Kevin Thompson shows how to live out three distinct roles in marraige. Using solid biblical principles, he helps you and your spouse grow your friendship, be supportive partners through the good times and the bad, and develop a healthy and satisfying sex life.

And as He spoke He no longer looked to them like a lion; but the things that began to happen after that were so great and beautiful that I cannot write them. And for us this is the end of all the stories, and we can most truly say that they all lived happily ever after. But for them it was only the beginning of the real story. All their life in this world and all their adventures in Narnia had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read; which goes on forever;in which every chapter is better than the one before. (Ibid., emphasis added)

This self-absorbed perspective treats God as a genie who simply exists to serve you in your selfish pursuit of personal fulfillment. But God is not your servant, and if you fall for the idea that life is supposed to be easy, you will either become severely disillusioned or you will live in denial of reality.

This idea saturates Scripture. The biblical emphasis on keeping eternity in our view reminds us of the brevity of our existence. The Bible compares life to a vapor that is here today and gone tomorrow. Having this fixed in our mind points us to a reality that goes far beyond the years we may have on this earth. Recognizing this truth, it would be foolish to obsess over such a small portion of our existence. Wisdom would have us remain focused on what happens after this life is over.

We know this to be true because of our own experiences and the experiences of those around us. We groan when we hear of the hurt of our friends and family. We groan in our own bodies because of the physical challenges we have. We all groan sometimes, but this groan is for heaven, for an eternal and better place. As we groan, we should remind ourselves and others these groans are temporary. They are momentary echoes of a future truth. Our best life is yet to come.

Herein is the truth that we cannot miss. Paul says we make it our aim to please God, both now when we are in our physical bodies and later when we see rightly and live for eternity. For Paul, the promise of the resurrection leads to a current life shaped around resurrection values. We want to please Jesus in our brief time here so that we might worship Jesus for an eternal time there. The hope of personal presence later leads to the desire of personal actions now. In the end, the focus is not necessarily on heaven, but on life now lived in light of heaven.

We might be tempted to think that if we simply avoid behaviors such as infidelity or stealing, then we are going to heaven. But we might not consider that devoting our lives to eliminating racial prejudice in our personal life, as well as from our family, workplace, and community, helps us develop the spiritual qualities and virtues needed in the afterlife.

Scripture teaches when Christ returns, there will be a general resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked (Dan 12:2). At that time, the spirits of the saints who have returned from heaven with Christ will be reunited with their resurrection bodies (1 Cor 15:12-57). Following this resurrection, there will be the final judgment where Christ will stand as judge over all those who lived on the face of the earth. Believers will be judged righteous not because of their acts, but because they are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.

I felt like I was given the secret to accessing heaven on earth. And after I finished my meditation, I went out and lived it. I was able to look at myself with unconditional love, see the perfection in each moment, and be present to what came to me as the holy trinity of miracles: body + planet + spirit.

And without further ado, I'm encouraging you, I'm asking the question, what is heaven on earth? And I'm sharing my experience and I say this during the episode, but this is not gospel. I am not preaching to you. I'm not telling you what's real and not real, and what's truth. I'm just sharing with you an experience that I had actually this morning and I hope this experience opens you up to your own experience of what, in my words, heaven on earth might be like and be available to us at all times. So, love you. Enjoy the episode.

Hal Elrod: Good morning, everybody. I don't know if it's morning when you're listening to this, but it is 11:15 a.m. on a Thursday right now. And I just had one of the best mornings of my life which inspired this impromptu podcast recording. So, what made this one of the best experiences of my life? Well, I started out I woke up at, what, 4:35 a.m.-ish and did my Miracle Morning and I did a super long and extended meditation this morning. I purposely scheduled this morning off. I've been working real hard all week. My family is actually out of town and I scheduled an entire morning to just I call it total time freedom. So, it was like Miracle Morning plus the first three hours of what would normally be a workday. I just scheduled it off today. I had that opportunity and I set the rest of my week up accordingly. So, I had this morning from when I woke up until right now, total time freedom just to do whatever I want. And that always starts with a Miracle Morning, of course, just because that's my opportunity to really get connected and grounded. And today, during my extra-long meditation and this is one of the benefits of, I think, being able to do an hour-long meditation, which we can't always do, but maybe on the weekends or every once in a while. I definitely don't do that daily.

We were also gifted with this planet with, I don't know the number, trillions of different living organisms and animals and insects and plants, trees, all of it. Like that's enough to keep us entertained for the rest of our lives, enough to keep us fascinated for the rest of our lives. And then we messed it up. I don't usually curse on the podcast, but I would drop an F-bomb there, and then we effed it up. Rather than being present to the perfection of life on this planet and the body we were gifted and intended as it was by the universe and creation, we let our minds and egos run wild. And when I say we, I just mean humanity. I'm not pointing the finger at you. This isn't to feel guilt. No, not at all. In fact, I wouldn't want you to feel any kind of guilt. But humanity, we let our minds and egos run wild. You know, people, we humanity wanted more and more and more and in our pursuit of more like our minds are so brilliant and in pursuit of better. And there are so many miracles, man-made human miracles, co-created miracles that have come from innovation. But I think somewhere along the way, we lost sight of what really matters. Our bodies, the planet, and our connection to source, to God. Now, this is the fundamental level I would say like we could have another conversation or extend this conversation into relationships with each other, which was another part of one of my realizations I had this morning is really wanting to improve my relationship with others, but that's another podcast for another time. 2ff7e9595c
